  • How can I terminate a contract with AXA?

    When terminating a contract, the following points must be observed:

    • Notice periods
    • In writing by post to the following address:

  • When can I terminate and what notice periods apply?

    Possible reasons for termination

    • On maturity
    • On premium adjustment
    • In case of an insured event
    • On a change of vehicle (motor vehicle insurance)

    Notice periods

    The corresponding insurance contract and the reason for termination are key.

    In general, the following applies:

    The contract term is decisive. You will find this in your policy (insurance contract). The contract is automatically extended by 1 year unless terminated in writing no later than 3 months prior to expiry. 

    You will also find information about notice periods in the General Insurance Conditions (GIC).
