The Working Atmosphere Compass is a quick and effective tool that analyzes problems in the workplace and promotes employee health in your company in a targeted fashion. The tool was developed by  DearEmployee and provides an insight into the health, motivation and company loyalty of your staff through continuous employee surveys.

The Working Atmosphere Compass also formulates recommendations for concrete action based on individually collected data that is customized to your company to improve the working atmosphere and reduce the health risks in your company.

How does the Working Atmosphere Compass work?

The key functions of the Working Atmosphere Compass center on questioning employees, reviewing the results for their relevance to your company and suggesting appropriate action and measures to improve health in the workplace:

  • Scientifically based employee surveys: your employees answer an online questionnaire on working conditions, health, motivation and company loyalty. After completing the questionnaire, the collated and anonymized survey results can easily be accessed at any time in the Working Atmosphere Compass. At no time can specific individuals be identified. 
  • Recommended action and measures to minimize health risks: the Working Atmosphere Compass recommends suitable action based on the survey results. From management coaching to time management workshops and digital mindfulness courses.

Working Atmosphere Compass BASIC: in self-services

The BASIC package of the Working Atmosphere Compass includes full access to the platform. This includes surveys on psychosocial risks in the workplace, health, motivation, and retention, as well as health complaints, a detailed presentation of results, and specific recommendations for action (plus various other features such as filter options, integration of up to three company-specific additional questions, etc.). It is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized companies that are familiar with the Working Atmosphere Compass and/or are happy to plan and implement measures independently within the company. Individual workshops on measures and support from AXA’s occupational health management consultants can also be booked.

How much does the Working Atmosphere Compass BASIC cost? At AXA, you benefit from a preferential price and receive the Working Atmosphere Compass BASIC from just CHF 2,250 p.a. including licenses for up to 100 employees. Additional licenses can be added on in factors of 50.

Working Atmosphere Compass PLUS: 5% discount including measures workshop

With the PLUS package, you benefit not only from access to the platform, but also from comprehensive support and an individual workshop on measures. AXA’s corporate health management advisors are available to you for action planning and implementation as well as a check-in during the year. The package also includes a two-hour workshop on measures. This makes the Working Atmosphere Compass PLUS particularly suitable for companies that want to carry out a more in-depth analysis of employee health, motivation, and loyalty and would like to make targeted use of the external specialist support and perspective of our CHM consultants.

How much does the Working Atmosphere Compass PLUS cost? At AXA, you benefit from a 5% discount and receive the Working Atmosphere Compass PLUS from just CHF 3,300 p.a. including licenses for up to 100 employees. Additional licenses can be added on in factors of 50.

Working Atmosphere Compass GOLD: exclusively with AXA

With the Working Atmosphere Compass GOLD, you not only receive a questionnaire on psychosocial risks in the workplace, but also close supervision and additional advisory time for planning and implementing measures. Our corporate health management advisors are available to you to ensure that your employees receive the best possible support. The package also includes a half-day workshop at company level as well as four half-day workshops at department level.

  • Can employee surveys be adapted or individually enhanced to sector and company?

    As the analysis has a scientific basis that goes beyond a pure employee survey with the Working Atmosphere Compass, there are no individual questions as standard. If specifically required, additional questions can be included on request. Furthermore, the analysis of working conditions can be specified by the use of individual tags.

    This way, the tool has already successfully recorded the working conditions of IT specialists, sales staff, laboratory personnel, teachers, production staff and many other professional groups. 

  • In which languages is the Working Atmosphere Compass available?

    The platform for managing the surveys and measures can be used in English, French and German. The surveys themselves can currently be conducted in eleven languages in total. Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish and Turkish are also possible in addition to English, French, German and Italian - ideal for international teams.
