AXA assumes responsibility in Switzerland
AXA Switzerland’s most important corporate goal is to act for human progress by protecting what really matters. Sustainable business conduct is designed to ensure quality of life in the future. What are we doing in concrete terms to improve sustainability?
- Our goal is to continually reduce corporate carbon emissions (buildings, business travel, IT, etc.), lower the carbon footprint of our investments and promote more sustainable products such as replacing damaged appliances with more energy efficient ones after a claim or repairing auto parts instead of replacing them.
- Through our Flora Futura initiative, we promote biodiversity in Switzerland.
- Our inclusive insurance (AXA EssentiALL) ensures that risk coverage and financial security are available to people no matter their budget. Our range of insurance and services is set up to ensure that as many people as possible can afford and use them.
- Our investment strategies take environmental, social and economic aspects into account.
- As part of our AXA Hearts in Action program, our employees volunteer their time for environmental and social issues.
- Our Procurement department works with companies selected for their adherence to environmental and social criteria.
- At the AXA Foundation for Prevention (in German) and through its promotion of research, we're working hard to make urban mobility safer for everyone.

- As part of our household contents insurance, Energy Plus helps customers whose claim involves damaged appliances to choose an energy-efficient replacement and covers any additional cost.
