You want to learn programming? At AXA, we train computer scientists specializing in application development and you learn to develop apps and websites. Together with experts from other areas of AXA, you explore problems, develop creative solutions, and program optimal software solutions. This IT apprenticeship is only available in Winterthur.
The apprenticeship as a computer scientist specializing in application development lasts four years and starts every August.
As a computer scientist specializing in application development, you create web applications and develop software solutions.
Together with your fellow apprentices, you learn the basics about developing programs and apps in the internal foundation year. In exciting group work and projects, you assemble computers, create computer networks, develop websites – and learn the basics about various types of programming. Furthermore, you will be encouraged in your personal development and will find out what it means to be part of a dynamic team.
After the foundation year, you can make practical use of your newly acquired technical knowledge in different departments. You will get to know various projects and technologies, and in doing so, will work together closely with your team and our internal customers. You will become familiar in various areas with the programming languages Java, C#, ABAP, and SQL as well as with the development of websites with HTML CSS and Javascript.
